About GetSet Events

GetSet Events is a student-led group at George Brown Polytechnic, focused on creating engaging experiences that bring people together for a purpose. We believe events are most powerful when they connect community with meaningful impact.

Our fundraising trivia night, GetSet to Conquer Cancer, supports the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation by raising funds and awareness for life-saving cancer research. Through an accessible, budget-friendly event, we aim to turn knowledge, collaboration, and community spirit into real change.

Partnering with the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation was a natural choice, as their mission to create a world free from the fear of cancer aligns closely with our values and personal experiences. At GetSet Events, we’re proud to prove that even one night can make a lasting difference.
